Students enrolled in a preparatory class (CPGE) must also be simultaneously registered at a higher education and research institution.
This dual enrollment is intended to facilitate a possible transition at the end of their preparatory course, in accordance with the equivalency conditions defined by the agreement between Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the partner high schools.
It also grants them access to university services (library, career and guidance services, etc.).
This paragraph only applies to CPGE students attending a high school that has signed an agreement with Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Other students may apply to transfer into a university-level Bachelor's program through the eCandidat application.
Dual Enrollment in Year 1 of the Bachelor's in Management
The procedure is divided into three steps:
Step 1 – Pre-registration
Using your Parcoursup credentials, log in to https://cpge.univ-paris1.fr/ before October 15.
Step 2 – Choose your program
Before October 30, inform the CPGE contact person at your high school of the program you are selecting.
Step 3 – Registration
Upon receiving your registration authorization via email, log in to https://primo.univ-paris1.fr.
You may register up until November 30. During registration, you can choose to pay online by credit card or by post with a cheque.
Once your file has been submitted online, you will receive a confirmation email listing the documents you need to provide to validate your registration. Log in to Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne’s website to activate your university account (ENT – Environnement Numérique de Travail) and upload your documents via the “pjweb” platform.
Dual Enrollment in Year 2 of the Bachelor's in Management
Administrative re-enrollment at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne alongside the second year of CPGE is mandatory.
Students must submit their application for dual enrollment in Year 2 of the Bachelor's in Management via the eCandidat platform in June.
Students who move on to the second year of CPGE and have obtained 60 ECTS credits may then register for the dual enrollment.
Re-enrollment is done online at https://reins.univ-paris1.fr, and the deadline is December 15.
Dual enrollment in Year 3 of the Bachelor's in Management is not permitted.
Interested in Transferring into the Bachelor's in Management?
CPGE students enrolled concurrently in Year 1 or Year 2 of the Bachelor's in Management may apply to transfer into the Management program after semesters 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Transfer requests at the end of semesters 1 and 3 are submitted in November via the eCandidat platform.
Transfer requests at the end of semesters 2 and 4 must follow the procedures communicated to students by email.
Important:
A student who transfers into the Bachelor's in Management partway through the academic year retains only those credits and courses that have been validated in semester 1 and are part of the new program with the same examination format.
The transfer of validated subjects from the first CPGE semester is thus very rare.
Students joining the Management program at the beginning of semester 2 of Year 1 or Year 2 must validate all courses from semester 1 that were not granted equivalency, either during the January exam session or the resit session in May.
Transfer applications after semester 1 are evaluated based on baccalaureate results and student motivation, and are subject to the available capacity in Year 1 of the Management program.
Transfer applications after semesters 2, 3, and 4 are assessed according to the terms of the agreement between EM Sorbonne and the partner high schools.
There is no “automatic” admission, even for students already dually enrolled at EM Sorbonne. The number of admitted students will be limited according to the capacity set by the EM Sorbonne administration.
