An information system is a constructed sociotechnical object. The objective of the MSI specialization is to provide knowledge and develop skills to plan, design, oversee implementation, operate, and evolve information and knowledge systems (IKS) that organizations need in a competitive and highly dynamic environment. These fundamental skills targeted by all MSI tracks stem from the evolution of the IKS field both in the academic context of information systems engineering and management, and in the socio-economic world through the evolution of professions and technologies.
The Master offers two tracks in English and three tracks in French. The MIKS tracks are in English.
MIKS – Management of Information and Knowledge Systems is intended for students in computer science and management wishing to acquire skills in information and knowledge systems engineering.
MIKS-CSS – Management of Information and Knowledge Systems – Complex Systems and Strategy: This program is specially designed for students wishing to become actors of transformation in an international, uncertain, and complex context, where organizations must constantly improve strategy development, policy design, and decision-making.

MIKS-CEM – Management of Information and Knowledge Systems – Capability Engineering and Management: Develop your skills in organizational capabilities engineering. Acquire in-depth expertise to design and manage the capabilities necessary to support corporate strategies and optimize organizational performance. Learn to use advanced technologies and innovative methodologies to lead digital transformation and improve information systems by aligning IT resources with the company’s strategic objectives.

The SIC tracks are in French.
SIC-BD – Information and Knowledge Systems – Big Data: Acquire in-depth expertise to design, plan, oversee, and evolve information systems to meet organizations’ strategic needs. Master Big Data technologies, learn to use modern IS platforms and NoSQL databases to effectively manage Big Data projects. Develop strategies to leverage massive data to support decision-making and optimize processes.

SIC-BA – Business Analysis: Acquire expertise to plan, analyze, design, and optimize information systems according to organizations’ strategic needs. Learn to use advanced tools and methodologies to identify business requirements and model processes. Develop strategies to effectively integrate information systems into the company’s overall objectives, facilitating decision-making.

SIC-Cyb – Cybersecurity: Develop your skills in protecting information systems, network security, and cryptography. Master cybersecurity standards and regulations to ensure compliance and strengthen the company’s security posture. Develop strategies to anticipate and counter cyber threats to ensure business resilience.
