University Diplomas

University Diplomas, also called Establishment Diplomas, are programs designed either to prepare for university admission or to deepen specialization in a particular field. Unlike Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, they are not subject to accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education.

EM-Sorbonne offers three University Diplomas in initial education, each targeting a specific audience.

University Diploma – Gap Year Continuing Studies (DU-CPE)

The University Diploma Gap Year Continuing Studies (DU-CPE) is intended for EM-S students who have completed their third year of the Bachelor’s degree but have not secured a place in one of our Master’s programs.

To allow them to continue their studies and maintain their student status while waiting for the next application period, the DU-CPE offers a year of professional training along with an opportunity to strengthen their application file.

This diploma thus constitutes a certified gap year, allowing students to reinforce their application for our Master’s programs or other courses. However, even if successfully completed, the DU-CPE does not guarantee automatic admission to EM-S Master’s programs.

DU-CPE Structure

The program consists of three components:

  • Deepening management knowledge: choice of two third-year courses not yet taken
  • English improvement: preparation for TOEIC or TOEFL
  • Writing a professional thesis: based on an internship

Target audience
Students holding a Bachelor’s degree in management sciences from EM-S, all tracks combined.

University Diploma – International Mobility and Professionalization (DU-MIP)

The University Diploma Mobility and Professional Integration (DU-MIP) is aimed at EM-S students holding a Master 1 or enrolled in Master 2 who wish to orient their studies towards professionalization.

This diploma represents a certified gap year allowing students to strengthen their professional experience and English skills. Its main objective is to facilitate their integration into the job market.

DU-MIP Structure

The program consists of three components:
