Antonin Batteur, a second-year Master’s student in Financial Management and Taxation, has been awarded First Prize in the 2025 Grand Prix of La Finance pour Tous.
Antonin Batteur, a second-year Master’s student in Financial Management and Taxation at EM-S, has been awarded First Prize in the 2025 Grand Prix of the Institute for Financial Education of the Public (La Finance pour Tous) for a graphic publication addressing the major challenges related to the future of public spending.
In this work, which creatively combines texts, data visualizations, and a comic-style section, the student makes complex budgetary issues accessible.
He presents a critical mapping of key contemporary challenges—such as environmental impact, population ageing, and digital transformation—concluding with a thorough analysis of public spending along with proposals for prioritisation in the short, medium, and long term.
The jury, composed of representatives from La Finance pour Tous, the Banque de France, the AMF (French Financial Markets Authority), the Ministry of Education, Sciences Po, Université Paris Dauphine, Université de Lorraine, as well as economic journalists and civil society members, praised the depth of documentation and statistics, the pedagogical clarity of the approach, and the originality of both the format and tone.
