HRM or HRD?

At the Sorbonne School of Management, students interested in Human Resources can specialize in one of two distinct areas depending on their goals and career aspirations: Human Resource Management (HRM) or Human Resource Development (HRD).

- HRM Master’s programs train future professionals in the structuring and steering of HR policies. This specialization covers areas such as recruitment, career management, compensation, labor law, and industrial relations, with a strong focus on organizational performance and efficiency.

- HRD Master’s programs, on the other hand, focus on employee support and skills development. Students learn to design training strategies, anticipate transformations in the workplace, and foster employee engagement by aligning individual and collective goals.
